Sherri Killins

Vice President for Human Development & Operations

Sherri Killins is responsible for the personnel and human resources activities for the more than 500 employees of the Foundation, as well as the Foundation-wide intranet systems and daily operations at the headquarters. Sherri has worked as an advocate for children and families in a variety of ways for more than 20 years -- from nursing, to counseling, to developing and managing multi-million dollar federal programs, to running for mayor in New Haven, Connecticut. As a consultant to the Foundation, she helped implement our leadership development and executive transitions initiatives and worked on developing the strategies to achieve scale and sustainability in our Making Connections sites. Sherri holds a nursing degree from the University of Pittsburgh, a master's of administrative science from Johns Hopkins University, and a doctorate in counseling psychology from the University of Sarasota.
