This report highlights the findings of a survey that identifies a large gap between what human service workers are asked to do and their capacity for carrying out such tasks. Many workers are often under intense pressure and have limited resources causing their work to be tedious and overwhelming. The surveyed targeted 1,213 childcare, child welfare, youth services, and juvenile justice workers who serve America's low-income families.
