Casey Foundation employees are being encouraged to contribute generously to relief and recovery efforts, especially in ways that advance the Foundation's core mission of helping disadvantaged children and their families. The Foundation has agreed to match employees' personal donations of up to $1,000 to selected organizations identified by a Foundation team as being highly reputable and effective. The Foundation is working to provide a range of relief activities so all staff can help according to their means and abilities. Staff members have been coordinating an effort to collect nonperishable food, clothing, baby products, school supplies, toiletries, and other items. A blood drive is also being scheduled.
