Federal Case Study Highlights Early Childhood Education in the Atlanta Civic Site
A new case study from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development describes the efforts of Casey's partners to help kids and families in southwest Atlanta thrive by taking a comprehensive, two-generation approach to early childhood education.
The study focuses on Educare Atlanta's holistic approach to preparing children to succeed in elementary school. With partners including United Way of Greater Atlanta and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, the early childhood center supports social-emotional and physical development, while also equipping parents to foster their children's growth and well-being. The center is run by Sheltering Arms Early Education and Family Centers.
