Summary

This report focuses on organization development tools as an approach to supporting change within child welfare organizations. Multiple tools are described and applied within the context of one of four child welfare change scenarios. As part of the Casey Foundation’s Family to Family initiative, child welfare agencies were required to integrate new approaches within their systems while continuing operations. The tools and approaches of organization development helped grantees increase their organizational effectiveness while introducing, managing and sustaining change.
