Frontline Practice

Frontline practice is a broad term that refers to the work of any individual offering direct services to children and their families. These individuals regularly hold positions within child-serving systems, such as a child welfare agency or a juvenile justice jurisdiction.

Oftentimes, because of their immediacy to the families they serve, frontline workers are viewed as the face and heartbeat of an organization. For this same reason, they are also a critical resource for improving its processes and informing its next steps.
