Adult Participation
A range of strategies, both public and private, is effective for adult participants.
The Workforce Narrative project, a two-year initiative funded by The Annie E. Casey Foundation, examined new ways of thinking about workforce development, and the challenges presented by lacking attention from policymakers to this critical system. As part of the project, this paper presents a comprehensive view of workforce development, including common pitfalls in considering the effectiveness of workforce development interventions.
Evidence demonstrates that workforce development – when considered from different vantage points and perspectives, and when measured appropriately – does, indeed, work.
