The Leadership in Action program is an opportunity for collaboration between key leaders, managers and residents to solve problems using holistic, creative solutions. The program focuses on a specific goal and strives to improve the lives of kids and families, to strengthen leadership of a community, city or state, and to get results faster. The program, led by specialists from the Annie E. Casey Foundation, takes on stubborn issues that undermine disadvantaged youth, families and communities.
Collaboration between individuals brings a better toolkit to the table when it comes to resolving an issue. The Leadership in Action Program is about combining the perspectives, capabilities and resources from everyone involved in an issue to generate the fastest, most effective solution.
