There are four steps in the 2026–28 application process:

  1. Identify your team members.
  2. Select a team point of contact.
  3. Attend the informational webinar from 1–2 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Aug. 4. (Attendance is optional but recommended.)
  4. Complete the application. The application includes five questions that the team will complete together to describe its vision, goals and experience working collaboratively. Each team member must also complete an individual section of the application.

Identify Your Team

Consider the team composition and characteristics based on the criteria.

Select a Team Point of Contact

The team point of contact will:

  • be the main point of contact for Foundation staff and faculty;
  • complete the application in consultation with the members of the team; and
  • facilitate scheduling team meetings during the 14-month program so the team completes its assigned tasks.

Attend the Pre-Application Webinar

Encourage prospective team members to register and attend the webinar at from 1–2 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Aug. 4. Attendance is optional but recommended.

Complete the ALN Application

Complete and submit your application by 5 p.m. ET on Friday, Sept. 4, 2026.
