Corey Steel Named Deputy Probation Administrator in Nebraska

Corey Steel was select­ed to fill the new posi­tion of deputy pro­ba­tion admin­is­tra­tor for juve­nile ser­vices for the Office of Pro­ba­tion Admin­is­tra­tion in Nebras­ka. Steel served in the capac­i­ty of assis­tant deputy admin­is­tra­tor for juve­nile ser­vices since July 2012 and has played an active role in pro­vid­ing infor­ma­tion to the state leg­is­la­ture on juve­nile jus­tice reform. Pri­or to serv­ing as assis­tant deputy admin­is­tra­tor, he was the juve­nile jus­tice spe­cial­ist for the Office of Pro­ba­tion Admin­is­tra­tion. He remains involved in JDAI, the Cross-Over Youth Prac­tice Mod­el and the Juve­nile Infor­ma­tion Shar­ing Project.
