Register Now: Shared Leadership in Action Webinar

The Annie E. Casey Foundation is supporting the release of new research on how nonprofits are putting shared leadership models into practice — and what these models mean for healthier, more collaborative organizations. A new report, Shared Leadership in Action, highlights findings from a study conducted by Brazen Consulting and Accounting, with participation from Baltimore nonprofit leaders.
To explore the findings in depth, the Foundation will host a webinar from noon to 1 p.m. ET on Sept. 23, 2025. Partners from Brazen Consulting and Baltimore leaders who participated in the study will share lessons from the research and discuss the promise of shared leadership.
Attendees will learn about the impact of shared leadership models in the nonprofit sector and beyond. Shared leadership is a framework where collective ownership, diverse voices and even distribution of work are essential.
“More and more nonprofits are discovering that shared leadership can ease burnout, deepen collaboration, and create space for healthier organizations,” said Amir François, a senior research associate at Casey who will moderate the discussion. “This webinar is a chance to learn from the experiences of Baltimore leaders who are putting these models into practice and reshaping what leadership can look like.”
At this session, you will:
- Gain insights into the benefits of shared leadership across organizations and communities.
- Learn about the essential skills needed for shared leadership.
- Discover the key strategies of shared leadership.
- Delve into the shared leadership ecosystem and the diverse experiences of organizations that have used it.
This webinar will be especially helpful to anyone who is applying or considering shared leadership models.
