Register Now: Well-Being for Grassroots Organizers and Advocates
An upcoming webinar, Making Peace: Addressing Grief, Loss and Movement Building, features four grassroots leaders who are advancing justice for youth and young adults. Hosted by Motivating Intergenerational Leadership for Public Advancement (MILPA) — a grantee of the Annie E. Casey Foundation — the session will take place at 1 p.m. ET on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025.
The panelists will discuss:
- why the youth justice reform movement operates as it does;
- the movement’s goals, structure, strategies and outcomes; and
- how it must adapt to societal changes.
They will also explore the impact advocating for justice has had on them, their organizations and the communities they serve. This includes the effects of grief, loss, trauma and racial discrimination.
This webinar is ideal for organizers, advocates and grassroots leaders interested in movement building, perseverance and well-being. Anyone who cares about young people and community safety in the context of youth justice reform will benefit from the discussion.
