Youth and Work

Millions of young Americans lack the skills, knowledge and experiences needed to earn high school diplomas, pursue a post-secondary education or enter the workforce. Engaging these young people in work and training opportunities can improve their educational experience, help reduce high school dropout rates and support their transition to college.

Programs focused on preparing youth for work aim to help teens and young adults grow their skills and self-esteem, manage relationships, navigate group settings and expand their learning opportunities and experiences.
