Join the Annie E. Casey Foundation and the Pretrial Justice Institute for an Aug. 10 webinar on communications tools that build and maintain support for juvenile justice reform.

Everyone working in juvenile justice reform has an important role to play in shaping public opinion. Good storytelling and the right messages can make a positive difference with your stakeholders and community. Informed by research and experts in the field, the Casey Foundation created a communications and messaging tool kit to sustain support for the Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative® agenda.

Access and download the toolkit

During the webinar, you’ll hear from the Foundation, a JDAI™ model site and communications experts about the easy-to-use tools. Topics covered in the tool kit include why and when to engage outside audiences; identifying messengers; and spokesperson prep and interview tips. It also helps communicators talk about issues of race in juvenile justice systems. Attendees will have time to ask questions about their own communications opportunities and challenges.
