Webinar Highlights What Caregivers Need to Know About Kinship Care

The Casey Foun­da­tion is host­ing a webi­nar — Kin­ship Care: What Child Wel­fare Pro­fes­sion­als and Kin Care­givers Need to Know” — for care­givers and the pro­fes­sion­als who work with them. The free ses­sion will high­light lessons from Casey’s work on help­ing rel­a­tives nav­i­gate the emo­tion­al chal­lenges of rais­ing kin.

Tracey Feild, direc­tor of the Foundation’s Child Wel­fare Strat­e­gy Group, and Joe Crum­b­ley, a respect­ed ther­a­pist, train­er and kin­ship expert, will cohost the free webi­nar, sched­uled from 2 p.m.–3 p.m. EDT, Oct. 162018.

It also will high­light resources and tools for kin­ship fam­i­lies and pro­fes­sion­als, includ­ing the Foundation’s own video series host­ed by Crum­b­ley on engag­ing care­givers.
