Appli­ca­tion and Selec­tion Process

The Casey Foun­da­tion invites appli­ca­tions for the Ris­ing Lead­ers Fel­low­ship and wel­comes rec­om­men­da­tions to help reach a broad and diverse group of emerg­ing lead­ers, includ­ing those not already con­nect­ed to its pro­grams or networks.

The appli­ca­tion process is designed to pro­vide mul­ti­ple ways for appli­cants to share their expe­ri­ences, inter­ests and aspi­ra­tions. This includes writ­ten respons­es and, for select­ed final­ists, a vir­tu­al inter­view process.

The selec­tion process includes the fol­low­ing stages:

1. Online appli­ca­tion submission
2. Appli­ca­tion review by selec­tion committee
3. Vir­tu­al inter­views of select­ed finalists
4. Selec­tion of the Fel­low­ship cohort

As part of the appli­ca­tion process, the Foun­da­tion will host infor­ma­tion­al webi­na­rs for prospec­tive appli­cants and for super­vi­sors to pro­vide an overview of the Fel­low­ship and answer questions.

Appli­cants should be pre­pared to par­tic­i­pate ful­ly in all stages of the process and, if select­ed, to attend all pro­gram activ­i­ties and sem­i­nars. Final­ists will be noti­fied in advance of inter­view dates and expectations.
