Casey Foundation Welcomes Second Class of Rising Leaders for Results Fellows

The Annie E. Casey Foun­da­tion has select­ed 14 emerg­ing lead­ers for the sec­ond class of its Ris­ing Lead­ers for Results Fel­low­ship.

The 2026–2028 cohort includes lead­ers ages 24 to 31 from the pub­lic and non­prof­it sec­tors. Dur­ing the Fel­low­ship, the par­tic­i­pants will strength­en their lead­er­ship skills while work­ing with­in their orga­ni­za­tions and com­mu­ni­ties to con­tribute to mea­sur­able improve­ments for chil­dren and families.

“We’re proud to wel­come a new class of emerg­ing lead­ers who are already mak­ing a dif­fer­ence in their com­mu­ni­ties,” says Lisa Law­son, pres­i­dent and CEO of the Casey Foun­da­tion. ​“These fel­lows bring valu­able expe­ri­ence, ideas and a deep com­mit­ment to places where resources and oppor­tu­ni­ties are too often lim­it­ed. What Is the Ris­ing Lead­ers for Results Fellowship?

The Ris­ing Lead­ers for Results Fel­low­ship is a 21-month pro­gram for emerg­ing lead­ers who want to strength­en their abil­i­ty to achieve bet­ter and more equi­table results for chil­dren, youth, fam­i­lies and com­mu­ni­ties. It’s based on Results Count^®, the Casey Foundation’s approach to lead­er­ship development.

Through mul­ti­ple learn­ing ses­sions, Fel­lows devel­op and apply core lead­er­ship skills and tools that can help them con­tribute to mea­sur­able improve­ments, regard­less of their role or where they sit with­in an organization.

Over 21 months, Fel­lows will have oppor­tu­ni­ties to reflect, exper­i­ment and apply what they are learn­ing to chal­lenges in their orga­ni­za­tions and com­mu­ni­ties. They also will build rela­tion­ships with oth­er emerg­ing lead­ers and devel­op prac­tices they can con­tin­ue using through­out their careers.

“Through the Fel­low­ship, the ear­ly-career lead­ers will strength­en the skills, rela­tion­ships and self-aware­ness they need to lead mean­ing­ful change over time,” says Leslie Boissiere, vice pres­i­dent of exter­nal affairs at the Casey Foun­da­tion. Boissiere over­sees the Foundation’s port­fo­lio of results-based lead­er­ship devel­op­ment pro­grams, which include the Ris­ing Lead­ers for Results Fellowship.

The Fel­lows will attend their first sem­i­nar in Novem­ber 2026.
