The focus of the Casey Foundation has long been about helping children thrive in safe, nurturing, and strong families. In 1976, Casey Family Services was started as a fully licensed, non-profit child welfare agency dedicated to helping the most abused and neglected children. Headquartered in New Haven, Connecticut, Casey Family Services has more than 300 staff members in seven states: Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
For more than 30 years, Casey Family Services has evolved from offering foster care to also supporting safe, stable families as children develop lifelong family relationships.
